Vista, CA (5-1-2007) – Directed Electronics, Inc., announced that rugged new HCCA-D2400 amplifiers are now shipping to authorized Orion Car Audio retailers worldwide.


The Orion HCCA-D2400 subwoofer amplifier is a Class D powerhouse, with a MOSFET power supply, heavy gauge direct-wire high current power and speaker terminals, IntelliQ bass optimization circuit and an 18dB per octave low-pass filter. MSRP is $699.


According to James Turner, director of product development for mobile entertainment, “All of the heavy-duty new Orion HCCA amplifiers, subwoofers and speakers will be coming into full availability during the month of May, in anticipation of our worldwide launch in June 2007. Orion fans should definitely visit their local dealers this month, and tune-in to www.orioncaraudio.com for the latest news about all the exciting contests and promotions coinciding with the launch.”
