Hey I own a holden commodore VT Berlina 2000 and i was told that in that model if u remove the stereo the car won't go???? and ya have to do something to bypass this. Is it true and if so wot do i do?????

I am not familiar with the Model you listed, but a lot of stereos/cars have a safety feature that when you remove the stereo (disconect it from power), it won't turn on unless you insert a "special code", which you usually need to go to the dealer to get, for a price. Its meant to be a safety feature, so that people won't steal your radio, because it won't work once you remove it.

If you got the impression that the car won't start, thats not the case. Just the stereo won't turn on.

Not all models do this though, but its not uncommon.
