I bought one of those walmart hope im spellin this right schochse db meters....I was hitiing 130 Db's by it and it only goes to 130. My system sounded like crap cause i had it cranked not on the amp though just the hu....but to tell you the truth everything wasnt up that much on the HU either. Do you think that meter was any where close? and that was before i built the louder box i built? the kicker bass boost was only at about 1 /4 the way on the amp and the boost on the remote boost was up all the way...But the bass on the hu was at almost off and the hu sub was set at minus ten its the lowest setting you can get in it witout turning it off. Is that very bad on that meter? _________________ "I may dumb but im not a dweeb,

Yeah I wouldn't trust the meter much. Most systems can hit 130 dB's, Im sure yours can hit higher. Its probably in the 135-40 range. Its very hard to make accurate meters that read above 120 dB's. Even the $1000 meters aren't that accurate in the high ranges and need to be calibrated often. _________________ RIP the "GhettoTaurus"

$1600 is not "Just a mic".
However, I do know what you mean. I had to really think about it (6 months) before I purchased it. I thought about my termlab a year before I purchased it. _________________ X-MAX CAR AUDIO
