Well, if you go threw chain stores you're not gonna find an amp that pushes 1000 (real watts), I mean just for your information I bought 2 Alpine V power amps, (200 dollars a peice) and they push 400 watts RMS for each sub, and in total im getting 800 watts, and i spent 400 dollars, but im getting what I paid for, great sound quality and great bumps. Like i've been saying latley, you get what you pay for.

i hooked the Lanzar up to the sub today but...it sounds funny for some reason! it's puttin out all the parts of the songs(lyrics, highs and such) i was just wondering...is it suposed to do that? and one more thing what is the best way for the sub to be facing?

If the amp has a low pass filter (LPF) on it (crossover) switch it to that. And IF the it's adjustible, adjust it to 60Hz or so.

If he's looking for SPL, then he needs to get rid of that (wanna be ) enclosure. IF he'sjust want's street bass, then face it to the rear. Just play with the direction. Some cars sound better with the sub facing the the side (compression loading). Most sound better with the sub facing the rear though.

Send me a make and model # for that sub or the T/S paremeters so I can model an enclosure for it.

Oh, so I have to do the paper work and you get to fo the fun part? give it a 2.5 cubic feet sealed enclosure. Give it 600 watts (RMS) and watch it cook. Fun huh? Good thing it's not yours! :stretcher
